pla-11The revolutionary Dr. Baburam Bhattarai, also the Finance Minister who is well known for making idiotic statements from time to time has been heard in numerous appearance saying that there is no come back for the King or the baby-king. Bhattarai, repeatedly saying so arises a question, does he really fear the King and his comeback or is he just trying to create more hatred against the King. Not to mention the King simply stepped aside and handed the kingdom in the hands of these terrorists who terrorized the nation for over a decade and destroyed almost everything possible in the country. The other question is, why did the King so easily give-up everything to the terrorists. The time will tell the answer as to why but the point here is about Dr. Bhattarai who has recently said that the PLA enjoys the same status as the National Army which sounds quite unjustified. The Minister with a doctorate degree should at least have the brains to distinguish the difference between the terrorist outfit and the prestigious Nepal army. One who defends the country and the countrymen against enemies and the other listed as terrorists who in fact are the enemies. Under same grounds, Bhattarai criticizing and showing anger towards the Nepal Army for boycotting the fifth national games is also not reasonable. It is pretty much justified to everyone and why on earth would the National Army men play games with the terrorists they once fought and might have to fight again if necessary. The Maoist formed organization called the PLA is a illegal body in Nepal today and the validity and existence of the same was voided the day the Maoist’s signed the agreement with other political parties and chose to come to the main stream politics. As a political party, the Maoist’s are not entitled to form or have a fighting force of any kind. All the men and women who once were engaged in the organization “PLA” have to be released and disarmed. They have to abide by all the rules, regulations and the laws of the country like all common men and only after having done so, they will be able to place themselves in the society as law abiding citizens. Currently, these people are murderers, kidnappers, rapists, looters, etc. etc. criminals by the law who have committed crimes of all magnitude and terrorized the nation which was the main Maoist intention. Today the PLA is the biggest problem in Nepal. They were an outfit formed by the Maoist’s to fight their cause against the then Government of Nepal. An outfit that was formed of mostly innocent men, women and children who lacked proper education and were misguided and manipulated by the Maoists. It was a terror packed force formed to terrorize the citizens,  to destroy the state property and fight against the then existing law of the land. Why were these men and women motivated? False promises such as land to the landless and wealth to the poor and the communist doctrine of equality among all. Once they started to grow, they forcefully, by threatening to kill family members got more and more people to join them in their mission to turn the nation to a communist state. No adequate training, physical condition or education background was required and the only requirement was willing to pick up the gun and fight. Anyone who opposed or disagreed with them were brutally beaten, tortured or even killed. Some joined them, some fled their home-town and the majority of the people just zipped their lips and stayed quite witnessing all of these devastating activities of the Maoists and it was mainly fear for their lives and the lives of their loved ones. So by all means, the PLA was and is an illegal outfit and has to be dissolved without any conditions. They cannot be merged with the Nepal Army and if they do want to serve the army, they have to surrender, disarm and first live like all law abiding citizens and then apply for the openings the army makes and meet the requirements of the institution. Dr. Bhattarai, please do not make the mistake of comparing the Nepal Army with your terror package and do not dream of letting the terrorists enjoy the same status cause the Nepali people have had enough of you and as you may also know, when the boiling milk reaches a certain point it spills.

The above article seems to be absolutely baseless, while the majority of Nepalese people have accepted them and their views as legal and necessary, the above article has labelled them as a terrorist whereas they are elected by majority and are now heading the government. The above article also seems to be biased towards the feudal system and the monarchy. How can the writer refer them as “terrorists”? They are also the son of Nepalese people and they are our own brothers. Without their support it would have been impossible to abolish the monarchy. Dr. Babu Ram Bhattarai, one of most renowned intellectual of Nepal, has brought a dramatical change in our economy. Before the budget was announced, it was termed as most ambitious and impossible to achieve by most of the prominent economists of Nepal. They have the right to play game with their own brothers. Whoever the writer is of the above baseless article must review his brain and the writer may think this comment is posted by a party partisan which is absolutely wrong. I am neither involved in any party nor have have any hostility against other parties. Though I am posting this comment from abroad, I am aware of the ground facts of my home country. I was grown up in Nepal and had my primary education there. When I was in Nepal it was the Royal Army not the PLA who used to beat the poor and innocent Nepali people for providing food and shelter for the rebels who had ho option left. Therefore, I would like to request the writer to tell the fact to the countrymen not to misguide them by such libels. It would not benefit anyone. I think you have published this article for your own benefit only.
