news about NA coup d’état is false and baseless

Prachanda, in one of his public appearances talked to the media saying that Nepal was also headed towards the political scenario like in Bangladesh and Pakistan where the Army was the main power and the political parties were merely the puppets and he was completely against it. Someone present in the audience during the speech without a thought of the dramatic consequences that may occur wrote, the Nepal Army had made plans and were ready to executive akatawal-n-badal. This particular news that has hit all the media publications in the nation is truly baseless and is only a propaganda that has been spread to give the NA a bad name and to humiliate and insult the repute institution. Up to some extend the Maoists are also responsible for the breaking of such a rumor and the reason behind such an act is their dissatisfaction and differences with the Chief of the Army Staff Mr. Rookmangad Katawal and are conspiring to sack him by all means. What one has to understand is that the Nepal Army is the only one institution that is committed to serve the nation without political belief and affiliation of any kind, who are dedicated to serve and protect the nation against all evil enemies domestic or foreign and the men and women in uniform will not hesitate to put their own lives in line if need be for the country. They are well educated, well trained and put the interest of the nation before anything and doubting their sincerity and loyalty is an insult of the entire organization itself. The point, being made here is not to defend, justify or advocate in favor of the Army Chief, but disclosing the reality that lies beneath. As a matter of fact and as everyone is aware that no one is born perfect and that all human beings have weaknesses and flaws of their own and so does the NA and even under such circumstances they the Nepal Army have a significantly well disciplined and well maintained character unmatched by any organization or institute in the country. Just because you do not get along or dislike a personnel does not mean or give one the right to bad mouth the entire institution and the Maoist’s are doing exactly the same by trying to insult and hurt the image and the reputation of the Nepal Army as a whole only because of their personal differences with the Chief of Army staff Mr. Katawal.
