king-gyanendra1A random thought, the King must be well aware of the current situation of the country where security is in the minimum and the people are suffering due to the political instability and the nation lacking to produce a prominent, patriotic national leader. At a time when the country is in such a crisis, the King, if he really cares for the country and it’s people should make a public appearance and address the general people to come together to save the nation from the destructive path taken by the Maoists and the selfish leaders. As expressed by him, his desire to live in Nepal and work for the betterment of the country and the people at all times has to come into action now and if not now, then when? The people are sick and tired of the political leaders and their dirty games. It is now understood that these selfish self centered politicians are never going to work in favor and on behalf of the people or the nation. They only care for themselves and if more then it is the party they represent. The Maoists did get a chance and had their way though through terrorizing the people but did nothing for the people and only wanted everything for themselves and their intentions have been exposed to the people as a open book. They were and will always remain as terrorists, at least for now that is what their action says. In a crisis like this, where the nation is pushed to the limit of loosing it’s identity, the King should not sit quite. He should make a move to reach out to the people and once again unite the nation as one like his ancestors did. After having undergone all the suffering, the people have also somehow sensed the need of the King for the kingdom of Nepal.
