An insult to the Father of the Nation

colored-prithivi-narayan-shahLaxman Singh Khadka, the ignorant one painted the statue of Prithvi Narayan Shah, which is an insult to the person, who even today is known as the father of the nation cause without him, there would have not been a nation called NEPAL. This is a fact and cannot be denied. King Prithvi Narayan Shah was the one who dreamt of Nepal as one nation and united tiny principals of that time to form the modern independent nation called Nepal. That statue of his deserves respect and anyone one trying to dishonor it is an unpatriotic anti Nepali who should be punished. The painter is as fault but worst than him are the local authorities who did not stop him but simply watched him do so. These historical statues are public property and they have to be safeguarded or else one by one we will loose all our history and heritage which some ill fated elements in the country want it to happen. The painter is only a medium but the real culprits who had him do so or encouraged him into doing so have to be found and punished by the law. Destruction of public property is a crime and such crimes have to stop. If not for Prithvi Narayan Shah there would not have been a Nepal and all the Nepalese people owe him the respect for being able to call themselves Nepali.

A Bollywood style of painting. Nonsense. It looks real cheap. Needs to sue the local administrator. Nepal is being rapped. Tear drops roll down. We need another Prithvi Narayan, a patriot rajnitiya, not the politician.
