Maoists still terrorizing the people

maoist-mass-meet-large-1The terrorist organization of Nepal, the “Maoists” have been advocating on establishing “peoples supremacy” in the country verbally but are doing exactly the opposite in actions. It sometimes, gives a thought in the head, do the Maoists mean only themselves when they say people and all others who do not believe in them or disagree with them are not people. Otherwise, how could they talk about establishing peoples supremacy, when they are constantly involved in acts to terrorize the people. The Maoists have been terrorizing the Nepalese people for over a decade now and even today after they have signed the peace accord with the other political parties, haven’t given up terrorism. Among the various acts of terrorism conducted by the Maoists, the latest one has hit the people hard.

Magar Rastriya Mukti Morcha (MRMM), an ethnic wing of Unified CPN (Maoist), has shut down nine districts in mid-western region falling under its Magarat Autonomous Province. Normal life in Palpa, Argakhachi, Baglung, Gulmi, Rolpa, Pyuthan, Rukum, Salyan and Myagdi districts were badly affected due to the general strike called by MRMM in these districts. Reports say that MRMM activists including other Maoist cadres started staging protests in most of the affected districts since early today morning. Markets, academic institutions, offices and industries have been closed in the districts due to the strike while vehicles have mostly stayed off the streets fearing reprisals from the protesters. This is the fourth day in a row that Maoist affiliated ethnic outfits have imposed shut down strike in various parts of the country protesting against the rejection of the party’s resolution motion (which instructs the President to withdraw his ‘unconstitutional’ move of reinstating Chief of Army Staff Rookmangud Katawal and uphold civilian supremacy) in the parliament for discussion. The Maoist affiliated Madhesi Mukti Morcha had imposed a general strike in more than a dozen Terai districts in protest against the rejection of the motion. The Maoist cadres burnt few vehicles and vandalized public property during the strike. Similarly, normal life in various parts of the eastern region had been badly affected due to shutdown strike called by a Maoist affiliated ethnic outfits.

These so called strikes to shut down markets, transportation, offices, industries, academic institutions etc etc have created panic amongst the local people. There is shortage to food supplies, people who need medical attention can’t make it to the hospitals, people can’t go to work and everyone is confined in their homes as prisoners who can’t even go out for some fresh air. This is also an act of terrorism by the Maoists which has effected the Nepali people and thus the preaching of “people’s supremacy” by these anti social elements is meaningless and worthless.

Very nice piece of writing. Maoists are really terrorists with thousand tongues to speak different things at once. Don’t trust them at all.
