Chairman of UCPN (Maoist) has said, Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal’s India visit has been a humiliating one for the country since he did not get the kind of media hype that was then showed during Prachanda’s India visit. Speaking at a press meet organized in Birgunj on Saturday, Dahal claimed that the prime minister’s India trip, which received poor media coverage, proved to be an unsuccessful one. “Complete indifference of the mainstream Indian media to the visit of Nepali prime minister is a great humiliation for our country and people,” the former rebel prime minister said. Recalling his earlier visit to India, Dahal claimed the visit stole limelight of the Indian media since he was “the prime minister of the people”. During his recent Europe visit, he claimed, the international communities said the government formed under the leadership of Nepal, who was badly defeated in the CA elections, was the mockery of democracy. As per Prachanda, the terrorists are the only one who should be in government, ruling the country.
