Terrorists in Nepal…the Maoists

17 March 2010 232 views One Comment

goreThe Chargé d’Affaires at the US Embassy in Nepal Mr. Donald Camp has made it clear that violent activities being carried out by the Unified Maoists’ Party of Nepal has prompted the US to continue with its terrorist tag on the party of the ex-rebels. He also pointed out quite clearly that unless the Maoists give up violence completely, the US terrorist tag will also continue. Mr. Camp was addressing a program organized by the entrepreneurs based in Morang District.

Well done Mr. Camp.Maoists definitely deserve the terror tag. And wonders of wonder! If you tell them that they are nothing more than merely a terror group, clothed in the fake sublimity of goodness, pretending to be sociable creatures, then you definitely infite waves of fury from them. It’s like inviting anger from a blind person by bluntly telling him/her “blind”.

And further, the fact that even though they won the CA-elections in 2007-2008, it was by no means in a fair way, but by putting many people (like people from many placed where they had command over) at gun-point and even by threatening the mass indirectly of the repercussions if they did not win the election.Hence, it is clear that their invitation to the mainstream politics was also by no any conceivable means, a fair one; rather they gained aparent victory in CA elections by their henious means.
Then, how can we ever trust that such wild beasts, who have not been tamed before being brought up to the circus for performance, will not eventually attack the audience themselves? It is clealy due their inherent wilderness that they are repeatedly engaged in the acts of violence, which mean nothing more than an interesting hunt of a tiger. And their accomplish, YCL, is all over the place, houling and singing the tunes of Maoists, spreading thier terror to every nook and corner of the country. And what an irony, they want to pose themselves as a safe being, without first ever trying to take any form of medicine that might,to some extent at least, moderate their violent nature, implying they don’t even want to listen and follow the footsteps of non-violence. Well, it makes sense. How will a tiger, accostomed to hunting and finding its food and thereby deriving pleasure from its such nature, ever feel calm when it is just given the amount of food it needs. No! It will, at any apt moment, resort to its inherent nature and attack promptly.

Don’t lift terror tag on them as this act will be equivalent to giving them license to doing terror acts with much freedom.

I feel lucky, as well as unlucky at the current state of affairs due to the mere presence of maoists in Nepal. I feel lucky because I at least now do not have to bear the atrocities and see their cruelities as I used to do before as I’m currently residing in the USA. But, I feel unlucky, because,my very own brothers and sisters in Nepal, the common people of Nepal, all of them, my whole nation, is bearing the brunt of maoist attrocities. This thought torments me once and again and invites comments like this from my side which never tend to end.
