Maoists, still living by jungle rule

UCPN (Maoist) activists, as part of their fourth phase struggle for the establishment of civilian supremacy and national sovereignty, torched copies of treaties signed with India, in various parts of the country on Thursday. Demanding annulment of unequal treaties signed with India, the Maoists burned copies of Koshi, Mahakali and the Peace and Friendship treaties in Sunsari, Nuwakot and Sindhuli districts. Nepalese Maoists & Current Situation of Nepal

BY DIRGHA RAJ PRASAI
The Maoists are opening a ‘Pandora’s Box’ (evils collections) in the name of so-called ‘Civilian supremacy’. Actually, after the election of Constituent assembly-2008, the Maoist, UML & Madhesi based government failed in their commitment. The Maoist-led government has failed to maintain the rule of law and become failure to provide social justice to the common people. Due to the Maoist leadership the rule of law, Judiciary, Nepal army, and prestige of Nepalese identities including Pashupatinath, religious culture & traditions are at peril. The Maoist, during the insurgency, …

Nar Hari, Govinda Raj Joshi, Arjun Nar Singh K.C., Dr. Ram Sharan Mahat, Ram Chandra Poudel, Prakash Man Singh, Bimalendra Nidhi, Bal Bahadur K.C., Chirinjibi Wagle and some other leaders were personally insulted by the lioness also known as Sujata Koirala.
